The Piazzetta

Where Architecture Becomes a Living Room
The piazzetta is not merely a courtyard. It is the gravitational centre of the estate—an open-air living room shaped by the dialogue between the Main Villa to the south and the Guest Pavilion to the north.
Together, the two buildings define a gathering room without walls, framed by the countryside beyond. It reflects a simple philosophy: architecture should frame the landscape, not dominate it.
The Power of Two Buildings
Sunlit throughout the day, the Main Villa anchors the southern edge of the piazzetta. The Guest Pavilion—a single-storey retreat of precisely 100 square metres—completes the northern boundary. Between them lies a carefully proportioned space: a stage for morning coffee, evening aperitivi, or simply watching light move across stone and grass.

Light, Views, and Quiet Intent
A decisive design choice protects the piazzetta’s calm geometry: the Guest Pavilion steps back visually. Two six-metre picture windows face outward toward the countryside rather than inward toward the courtyard—so the piazzetta remains the social heart, framed by landscape and sky.
